What is the FCC Government Affordable Connectivity Program?
The Affordable Connectivity Program is an FCC benefit program that helps ensure that lower income households can afford the broadband they need for work, school, healthcare and more. Succeed.Net is approved to be part of this program and receive part of your internet service payment directly from the Government. There is no cost to apply, it’s easy, we are here to assist you if you need any help.
The benefit provides a discount of $30 per month toward internet service for eligible households and $75 per month for households on qualifying Tribal lands.
Succeed Internet access plans start at $50/mo (depending on area) so you could end up with Internet service as low as $20/mo which is 60% off! You can apply the $30 discount to any price plan.
Note: The Affordable Connectivity Program is limited to one monthly service discount and one device discount per household.
Who Is Eligible for the Affordable Connectivity Program?
A household is eligible if a member of the household meets at least one of the criteria below:
- Has an income that is up to 2x the federal poverty guidelines; or
- Participates in certain assistance programs, such as SNAP, Medicaid, Federal Public Housing Assistance, SSI, WIC, or Lifeline;
- Participates in Tribal specific programs, such as Bureau of Indian Affairs General Assistance, Tribal TANF, or Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations;
- Is approved to receive benefits under the free and reduced-price school lunch program or the school breakfast program, including through the USDA Community Eligibility Provision in the 2019-2020, 2020-2021, or 2021-2022 school year;
- Received a Federal Pell Grant during the current award year; or
- Meets the eligibility criteria for a participating provider’s existing low-income program.
Eligible households must both apply for the program and contact the internet service provider to register their benefit.
How to enroll in ACP Government program with Succeed.net:
1. Go to GetInternet.gov to submit an application to ACP program online. (Existing customers can add ACP benefit to their account at any time.)
2. Signup for Succeed.Net internet service online at get.succeed.net (You aren’t charged anything until AFTER you are installed)
3. Email your acceptance from the ACP program to sales@succeed.net to apply it to your Succeed Internet service account. Include your name and address to ensure quick processing. Congrats on saving money every month!
